Ole J Hartmann wrote, directed, produced, and edited CHAT as his first feature film — shot on location in Harker Heights, Texas, and financed with $25,000 of his own savings.
No studio. No safety net. The shoot wrapped, post-production began, and Hartmann took the film to the crowd — an Indiegogo campaign to finish color, sound design, and the festival push.
The result caught the horror press off guard: iHorror called it “low-budget horror done right.”
